Other Products

        We feature a wide variety of other products of interest to a visiting angler, ranging from Bear Spray to ensure your vacation doesn't become more memorable than you'd want to tee shirts and ammo.  Brief descriptions of several categories of these products follows.

Lines and Leaders

        A good rod and reel don't help much if you don't have the line and leader to best make use of them.  While we don't routinely stock lines for steelhead, stripers, or bass, we do carry a wide variety of lines perfectly suited for trout fishing, ranging from $20 budget lines to the most advanced floating lines, sinktips, and shooting heads that money can buy.  Our favored line manufacturer is Cortland, and we carry the full Cortland line, from the Fairplay to the 555 and Precision XC.  We also carry the Orvis Wonderline and Clearwater floating lines.

        We carry a full range of leaders and tippets from Dai-Riki, Cortland, Maxima, and Orvis, as well as specialty mini-sinktip leaders from Climax.  We also carry two brands of spinning line.

Clothing

        Our shop is a small one and clothing is largely the product category that misses out because of it.  We carry logo hats in several styles and colors in addition to several other hats, several styles and colors of Parks' Fly Shop tee shirts, fleece jackets, cotton/synthetic angling shirts, a small selection of low-cost raingear, including a waterproof/breathable/packable raincoat that goes for under $90.00, and some Orvis insulated clothing.  We carry waders by Orvis and Dan-Bailey's and vests by Orvis and several lower-cost brands. 

Fly Fishing Accessories

        We have a full range of fly fishing accessories, including several varieties of strike indicators and non-toxic weight, tools, nets, stream thermometers, and so on.  Depending on which of our suppliers is on the ball, we stock four or five varieties of production fly floatant and desiccants.  Our favorite floatant is our own Magic Sauce™ Fly Floatant, a liquid floatant developed specifically for large dries and turbulent rivers.  It's a must during the Salmonfly hatch and terrestrial season.

Other

        We can meet all your bear spray, bug spray, and sunscreen needs on site.  We carry a wide range of rifle, pistol, and shotgun ammunition suitable for hunting in our area, a selection of knives, and cross-country ski and snowshoe accessories in season.
