Rods and Reels

        Parks' Fly Shop deals primarily in Orvis and Temple Fork Outfitters fly rods.  We are authorized Orvis dealers and have a full line of trout-weight Orvis rods, from 3-weight to 7-weight.  We have been an Orvis dealer since the shop's inception, and believe strongly in the company.  Most of our rental rods are of Orvis manufacture as well.  Our Temple Fork offerings are more limited, with our primary focus on the budget-conscious Series 1 and Professional Series lines.  We also carry a few individual rods from other lines.  As budget-friendly alternatives to Orvis and TFO, we also offer rods from Cortland and Scientific Angler.  For a low-cost introductory outfit, our prepackaged Cortland five and six weights for $89.95, including everything to introduce a new angler to the sport save flies and extra tippet, can't be beat.  For your lure-fishing friends, or if you want a backup yourself for when the wind makes fly casting a miserable chore, we offer various budget spinning rods from Eagle Claw, Zebco, and Quantum.

        Orvis and TFO are also our manufacturers of choice when it comes to reels.  Whether you're interested in a low-cost Clearwater Classic or a lovely gold Battenkill Large Arbor, we can match your rod, your needs, and your budget to a fine reel.  In TFO, we carry the TFO I reel for extremely light (1-3 weight) rods and the "Midge" and "Mayfly" model cartridge reels, which include a spare spool for only $49.95.  As alternatives, we also offer Martin and Eagle Claw fly reels and Shimano, Zebco, and Quantum spinning reels.
